Blinded by the Not-so-subtle Craftiness of Men

Ok friends, it’s been months since my last note and I just can’t hold back anymore. I’ve been reading the news every day this summer and there are a few things that just, ugh, just get me fired up. My skin crawls each time I read about a new pronounced socialist or communist appointed as a “czar” in Obama’s increasingly filthy administration. My stomach turns each time a new sector of our free market is engulfed by the jaws of the government and put into the hands of special interest groups. And blood shoots out of my eyes each time I hear the White House tells us that the recession is over and the economy is recovering. (This administration is really doing a number on my physical health.)
I truly believe that if a person honestly looks at the direction our country is headed that there is no possible way anyone with sound moral judgment will agree that we are headed in the right direction. How could they? What kind of person with a good heart could possibly hope for what is going on here? If you or anyone you know (and unfortunately there’s still way too many out there) still believe in Barack Hussein Obama as the bringer of hope and change, please read down this list and see if it changes your mind. If it doesn’t and afterwards you still believe in this guy, God have mercy on us all.
Capitalism: Obama does not support the American way of life. In fact, he hates it so much that he doesn’t even make an effort to hide his desire to destroy capitalism. Why do you think the United States of America has been the most powerful, prosperous country in the world? One word: capitalism. Why? Because it promotes hard work and incentivizes people to work for an end result. It inspires creativity and innovation. It rewards you and everyone around you for your efforts. Why did the U.S. rise out of World War II as the world superpower? Because they produced! And that’s how we get our economy working again – by allowing the economy to do what it does best: grow.
Here are some ways in which Obama has proven his desire for destroying capitalism:

Financial institutions: The government TARP funds that were approved by Congress were supposed to be used to save the failing banks. But of course that’s not the real reason. Let me ask you, who is the largest stakeholder in Bank of America? Citi Bank? Or any other bank who received TARP funds? Answer: The federal government. And get this – those banks who tried repaying the loans were rejected by the treasury. They didn’t have a choice but to relinquish control over to the government. Sound like capitalism to you? No? What does that sound like? Ah yes, the taboo word: SOCIALISM.

Auto industry: Why do you think American car companies have fared so poorly compared to foreign car makers? If you said the United Auto Workers union, then you are correct. But I won’t go into why unions have been crippling our free market. For now I’ll just point out the largest stakeholder in the American auto industry. You got it, the federal government. And who has Obama been in bed with over the past years? Ding ding ding! The president of the UAW union, who is now all but in complete control of the American auto industry. Sound like capitalism to you?

Health industry: This is my favorite. So far we have given up control to our financial market, auto industry, and many others that have not been discussed in detail (i.e. energy, oil, trade), so why not just give up our health industry while we’re at it?

TO ALL YE PROPONENTS OF NATIONALIZED HEALTH CARE, ARE YOU JUST AMAZINGLY STUPID OR REALLY THAT IGNORANT???
The last time I checked, the United States was the example the rest of the world turned to when attempting to change part of their infrastructure. Why in the world are we then trying to mimic Europe and Canada with our health care? They’ve all been total failures and anyone who thinks differently needs to actually do some research. What country do foreigners come to for health care assuming they can afford it? America. Not France. Not Canada. America. Does anyone know how long the wait is in Europe just to get an appointment with a primary care physician? You’d probably guess a couple weeks or something. Try 17 weeks. 17 weeks just to see a doctor! Are you kidding me!? Is that what our people want?

Now proponents of health care reform will tell you that the government is only going to have a plan to compete with private insurance. This comes from the same people who recently missed calculate our national debt by two trillion dollars. “Oops, it seems we forgot to add in this extra $2 trillion dollars.” And these are the people we want having control over our medical records, where and when we can see a doctor, if and when we can receive surgery, etc.? I definitely believe that the health sector needs reform. But when has giving the government control ever worked out in the peoples’ favor? Can you even think of one?

If any of you still support our president after reading this, you either don’t believe the information (if so get out and do your research – and that doesn’t mean listening to the White House or MSNBC) or you really do want our country to allow socialism to take over. If you fall into the latter category, please, get out of my country. But if you want your children and grandchildren to live with the same privileges that you have, then it’s time to tell the government and your progressive friends that you’ve had enough. Don’t let them suppress your voice any longer! And if any of you have taken offense to any of this, I apologize, but I’m not sorry for saying any of it.
